THE CREATOR

Stitch-precision Fiber Artist

I learned how to crochet as a little girl, sitting with my mother while she showed me the basics—how yarn could turn into something useful, something comforting. I loved it then, but like many things in life, crochet didn’t stay with me continuously. Over time, it drifted quietly into the background.

Years later, a crochet hook mysteriously appeared at my back door. I picked it up without much thought, but that small moment reopened something I didn’t realize I had been missing. Crochet came back into my life and, this time, it stayed. What began as a simple return to a familiar craft grew into a deep, steady passion and a true creative home for me. That was until…

Life asked me to slow down in an unexpected way. An injury left my hand and wrist in a cast for six weeks—bright pink, with a heart drawn on it as a reminder to stay hopeful. I couldn’t crochet during that time, but I could still dream, plan, and imagine. That pause strengthened my resolve and deepened my appreciation for the work I love.

Alongside crafting, gaming has always been part of my story too. When my children were little, I played The Legend of Zelda, and I still remember the pride on their faces when I finished the game wearing the white clothes. For a brief and glorious moment, I was their gaming hero—and that mix of creativity, play, and perseverance has followed me ever since.

Today, A Game A Head is where all of that comes together: handmade work rooted in tradition, shaped by patience, and inspired by the joy of creating something meaningful. Every piece I make carries a bit of that journey with it, and I’m so glad you’re here to share it with me.
